I'm Aahan Arka, the lead tutor at Eleos Education. I'm a high school student who has challenged myself with several AP classes and a lot of advanced coursework, and I want to share what I've learned with kids who could use a helping hand. I'm not in this alone, either — a growing team of volunteer tutors works alongside me, and I recruit and train each new volunteer so more students can get the individual attention they deserve.

I'm driven to give back to my community in every way I can — I also work as a lifeguard, where keeping people safe taught me how much steady, patient support really matters. I started Eleos Education ("eleos" means compassion in Greek) to make quality tutoring accessible to underserved students in our community — completely free of charge. Every kid deserves someone in their corner who believes they can do it.

My name is Aarna Arka, and I'm proud to be a co-founder and tutor at Eleos Education! I'm a middle school student who is dedicated to helping others build confidence in their academics. Teaching people to understand and enjoy learning is something that I strive towards in every tutoring session.

Math is my favorite subject, and I love competing in math competitions. I placed in the top 10% in MOEMS (Math Olympiad for Elementary and Middle School Students) and earned National Honor Roll in the Noetic Math Competition. Competitive math has taught me that even the hardest problems get easier when you break them into small steps, and I bring that same approach to every student I work with. Outside of math, I'm also a swimmer.

My goal for every kid is for them to be able to confidently ask me questions and for them to reach their full potential. Learning can be challenging sometimes, but I believe every student who works with us can become something so much more with the right guidance, encouragement, and opportunities.

I'm a student at Allen High School, and I'm proud to help lead Eleos Education alongside Aahan and our team. I've learned that the hardest part of school often isn't the material. It's having someone patient to walk you through it when it stops making sense.

I love math and problem solving, and I enjoy breaking tough topics into small steps that click. I also help students build study plans for standardized tests and feel confident going in.

I play school and club volleyball, and I'm a member of the National Honor Society and Hope Squad. Those experiences taught me the value of teamwork and of being a caring presence for others, which is what drives me at Eleos: every student deserves someone in their corner.

I'm a high school student from Prosper, Texas, where I attend Walnut Grove High School. As someone who has challenged myself with Honors and AP coursework, I've learned that success in school isn't just about working hard—it's also about having the right guidance when concepts become difficult.

At Eleos Education, I serve as a tutor alongside a growing team of dedicated volunteers. Taking advanced classes has taught me the importance of persistence, organization, and asking for help when it's needed. Those experiences inspired me to give back by supporting students who may not have access to academic resources outside the classroom.
